Detailed Agenda
From Salesforce to Scalable Customer Segmentation: An End-to-End ML Workflow at Takko
Speakers: Dr. Dirk Mannweiler, Manager Data Science, Takko Fashion, Thomas Höllen, Senior Consultant – Data Science , ORAYLIS
Description: Takko’s Data Science Manager presents an end-to-end machine learning use case for customer segmentation at Takko, implemented on Databricks in collaboration with ORAYLIS. The workflow starts with ingesting customer and transactional data from Salesforce using the native Salesforce Connector and demonstrates how this data can be efficiently processed and prepared at scale.
The core of the session focuses on an unsupervised learning approach to identify customer groups based on purchasing behavior and related features. We discuss practical considerations when applying clustering algorithms in a production-oriented Databricks environment.
Finally, we show how the resulting customer segments are used to improve digital advertising via the Takko Friends App, enabling more targeted campaigns and a better understanding of customer behavior.oriented environment.
How Telefónica achieves data security with Azure Databricks Confidential Compute
Speaker: Lasse Jenzen - Principal Consultant, ORAYLIS
Description: At Telefónica Germany, we prioritize the protection of our customers' data and strive to live up to the trust placed in us. As part of this commitment, we use the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to guide our data protection strategy, while integrating cutting-edge solutions in the cloud, such as confidential computing, to further enhance security.
However, just as even the most secure safe becomes vulnerable if the key is compromised, key management emerges as the critical competency in confidential computing. The challenge lies in navigating the complexity and abstract nature of key management procedures – moreover, convincing internal approval bodies of these security measures.
You will see our key learnings from implementing confidential computing within Databricks. We will focus on the technical challenges encountered, strategies for overcoming internal hurdles, and insights that can benefit organizations embarking on similar journeys to protect their data.
