Kunal has more than 20 years experience within the IT industry and has spent majority of these years articulating the value organisations can derive from their data. Kunal has worked extensively with customers across Asia Pacific & Japan and customers across EMEA.

Kunal is currently leading Field Engineering for Databricks across Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ), having joined as the first person in APJ. In this role, he is responsible for leading and managing a high performance team of solution architects who help organisations extract value from their data by leveraging Databricks unified analytics platform.

Kunal holds a Masters in Financial Mathematics from Kings College London, a highly quantitative degree, and has had extensive experience in working with both Retail and Investment banks to help them adopt a modern risk architecture.
