This course introduces Databricks Lakebase, a managed PostgreSQL database designed to unify operational and analytical workflows. You will learn how you can use Lakebase to simplify application architecture by providing a unified, serverless database solution for both transactional (OLTP) and analytical (OLAP) data—all governed within Unity Catalog. Through hands-on examples, explore how to configure Lakebase databases, implement Python connectivity patterns, and execute Reverse ETL workflows to synchronize lakehouse data.
